Jeff Bertsch is the Division Chief for the Flight Dynamics Division in the Flight Operations Directorate. In this role, he leads the teams that provide mission control operations for spacecraft trajectory, GNC systems, propulsion and booster systems, rendezvous and prox ops, as well as other disciplines required for dynamic operations of spacecraft.
Jeff started his career at JSC as a flight controller for the Space Shuttle guidance system in 1987. His career has also included numerous other organizations in Flight Operations, including the Mission Systems Division, Flight Design and Dynamics Division, EVA Robotics & Crew Systems Division, Space Transportation Vehicle Division, and the FOD Business Office.
Jeff earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford.
His talk today is titled: Comparing Apollo and Artemis.
